This video was shot inside the General Motors Arlington Assembly Plant, on Friday December 13, 1996, the Final Day of Impala SS production. Hear speeches given by GM execs and see Pinky Randall "Mr. Chevrolet" pick up the last 1996 Impala SS. This video is digitally re-mastered from the original camera master, so the quality is even better than the original version we released back in 1996. Included are 30 minutes of detailed footage inside and underneath the last Impala, as well as other footage shot inside and outside the Arlington plant on this day. We were the only non GM Television Crew allowed inside the plant, not even the news media was allowed inside to cover this very special event.
