Shot on location in St. Louis, Missouri, you'll see all the important happenings at I2K2. You'll see lots of modified Impala's and we talk with the owners to learn what they did to make their cars look so good, but that's just the start of the video. On the first evening, our host, Franklin "Hawkeye" Poole roams the parking lot, he shows us some mods and captures some burn outs, including one that actually melted the pavement!
Steve Cornell took a break from judging the Sound Off audio competition, to show us his exceptional stereo installation. During the Road Race Drivers Meeting, you'll learn what you should do with your floor mats before racing. Then you'll ride along in the passengers seat with the First Place "Race Class" Road Course winner, Harvey Clark, as he burns up the track with our in-car camera!
Ed Runnion from California shows off his road racing modified 1996 Black Impala SS with a T-56 six-speed manual transmission. Then you'll take the passengers seat, as Ed takes you along for the ride, in two of his actual Auto Cross runs! You'll feel Ed's pain as he accidentally blows his second run and you'll actually hear his disappointment from the in-car camera. We even put you in the passengers seat with Ed's fellow Region of Doomer - Bruce Corcoran, as he gives you an in car perspective of an actual Impala SS drag race from start to finish.
You'll see John Madeley's heavily modified Silver State Classic "Land Speed Racing Impala". He's had the car way up in the triple digits during the Classic and at Bonneville and he talks about some of his mods in an exclusive interview.
Tom Frederico shows off his B-body carpet line, which is made from the actual GM molds. Scott Williams shows off his Blink-Blink sequential tail light mod, which is now in 600-700 Impala's worldwide. The Inland Empire Drive Line people show you how to measure your car for the proper length driveshaft, but there's much, much more...
Car show judges Jim Curtis and Robert Acorcey explain a few of the items they look for when judging a show car, which will help those of you who participate in car shows.
If you were at the event or wanted to be there but could not attend, this video shows you all the important happenings at I2K2. This video is worth owning just to see the in-car camera footage during the Road Course, Auto Cross and Drag Racing events, not to mention the high-revs and tire squealing we captured with the in-car cameras during those events... Running time is 74 minutes.
